Only with controlled pressure, appropriate distance and after a preliminary test. Excessive pressure can remove cement paste, open pores and create an uneven cleaning pattern.
Depending on the process, construction site residues, dust, atmospheric dirt, signs of use and certain organic or mineral deposits can be reduced. Oil, paint, rust or lime often require separate special treatment.
Some substances penetrate deep into the pores or chemically change the concrete. In such cases, cosmetic adjustment after cleaning may make more sense than further aggressive cleaning attempts.
